Keeping an eye on WebGPU for in-browser compute — the kind of workload that used to mean shipping a native app or accepting a WebGL detour through graphics APIs it wasn’t designed for.
No project that needs it yet. That’s the honest state of assess: interesting capability, no current problem shaped like it.
Once browser support stops being the caveat in every article about it, this is the first thing I’d reach for on any project doing real number-crunching in the browser.
